Donald F. Robillard Jr. spent 34 years as an employee of Hunt Oil and Hunt Consolidated, serving as executive vice president, chief financial officer, and chief risk officer of Hunt Consolidated, as well as a director of both companies, until his retirement on January 31, 2017. He was also CEO and chairman of ES Xplore LLC, a direct hydrocarbon indicator technology company, from early 2016 until September 1, 2017, when the company was successfully turned over to a new CEO and a new chairman. He remains an advisor to the chairman of Hunt Consolidated.

Robillard’s experience with Hunt began in 1983 as the manager of international accounting. He was transferred to Yemen Hunt Oil Company in 1984 where he held various management roles, ultimately becoming vice president of Finance. His experiences in Yemen included his participation in bringing the first oil from Yemen onto production, the development of 12 commercial oil fields, and the construction of several new major gas facilities.

Prior to joining Hunt, Robillard was affiliated with the international division of Cities Service Oil Company, where he held various supervisory and managerial accounting posts, including negotiating accounting and business projects with partners and host governments in the Far East, Middle East, Africa, and South America.

Robillard is an active member of Financial Executives International where he has served as a national and local chapter board member. In 2012, he received the Financial Executives International Distinguished Service Award. He was also recognized as one of the top corporate finance professionals in Dallas-Fort Worth as winner of Dallas CEO magazine’s 2012 Financial Executives Awards, where he was honored as the Outstanding CFO in the Private Company category. In 2014, the Dallas Business Journal recognized Robillard with its CFO Lifetime Achievement Award. In both 2015 and 2016, Dallas CEO magazine recognized him as one of the 500 most influential business leaders in the city.

Robillard is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants; the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants; the National Association of Corporate Directors, where he serves as director of the North Texas Chapter; and Financial Executives International, where he also serves as director of the Dallas Chapter. He is a former trustee and advisory board member of the Perot Museum of Nature and Science and has also served as president and as director of the Dallas Petroleum Club. He is a director of Helmerich & Payne Inc. and Cheniere Energy Inc.

Robillard is a Certified Public Accountant and earned a BBA from the University of Texas in Austin in 1975.
