Cynthia Pharr Lee is chairman of Dala Communications, a strategic PR, social media, and marketing firm. She is currently an independent director for Lightstone Value Plus REIT V, a NYSE-listed but not traded REIT, where she serves on the Audit Committee and is chairman of the Nominating Committee. Pharr Lee is also an independent director for the Automobile Club of Southern California (AAA’s largest federation, including 22 clubs) and member of the Audit Committee. Previously, she served as an independent director of Darling Ingredients International (NYSE: DAR), CEC Entertainment Inc. (NYSE: CEC), and Spaghetti Warehouse.

Pharr Lee is a NACD Board Leadership Fellow, and in 2018 earned the CERT Certificate in Cybersecurity Oversight provided through Carnegie Mellon University in concert with NACD. In 2009, D CEO Magazine recognized her one of Five Outstanding Corporate Directors. In 2008, Dallas Business Journal named her to its inaugural group of 25 Most Influential Businesswomen.

Pharr Lee is cofounder of Texas Women Ventures Fund and serves on the Fund’s Investment Committee. She is chairman of the board of the nonprofit On the Road Lending and formerly served as national chairman of the Counselor’s Academy of the Public Relations Society of America. She is also a member of Women Corporate Directors and International Women’s Forum.
