Sarah Diamond

Sarah Diamond is a seasoned executive with deep experience in the financial services, technology, consulting, and regulatory sectors who has worked across Europe, the United Kingdom, Japan, China, and the U.S.  Currently, Sarah serves as a board member to several technology companies headquartered in the U.S., U.K. and India, all serving global markets.  Additionally, she is an executive mentor working with The ExCo Group, a global firm of experienced CEOs, directors and business leaders who help organizations and senior executives fulfill their leadership potential.  She also holds an appointment as Executive-in-Residence and Industry Advisor at Northeastern University's Center for Technology Management and Digital Leadership.

Sarah retired from IBM in December 2021, having most recently served as the Global Managing Director for Financial Services with responsibility for the sector P&L and for helping top the 50 global financial services clients embrace digitization to grow their businesses and create customer value within the rapidly changing regulatory, business and technology landscape.  Prior to joining IBM, Sarah served as senior vice president in charge of capital markets at KPMG, after launching her career in international banking at Chemical Bank in London.  Throughout her career, Diamond has focused on two passions: supporting women’s career development and providing educational opportunities to many, and she currently works with two not-for-profit PENCIL  (https://pencil.org/) and Bpeace (https://www.bpeace.org/) supporting these needs.

Diamond has an M.A. in International Relations from Johns Hopkins University, where she held a Fulbright-Hayes Fellowship, and an M.A. in Modern History from the University of Oxford. She lives in New York with her husband, a professor at New York University. She has two adult children, also with careers in education.
