Virtual: Supply Chain Risk - The Board Imperative

Supply Chains are under enormous stress. Driven by geopolitical conflicts - whether wars in the Ukraine or the Middle East - climate change weather events, various economic conditions caused by inflationary pressures or recessionary concerns, labor strikes/shortages, or other unforeseen challenges, disruptions to supply chain operations are here to stay.

Companies need to anticipate and manage the impacts that these challenges create in getting access to goods and their flow to final destinations, the scarcity of essential resources, including everything from wheat to precious metals for manufacturing and technology, surges in costs, among other concerns. Boards need to have supply chain risks on their agenda and need to understand and exercise oversight on how management is anticipating and addressing these risks
