Alice Brennan, NACD.DC

Director

Alice Brennan is a public and private company board director with more than 20 years of boardroom experience. She has deep knowledge of enterprise risk management, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance, as well as broad knowledge of the financial services sector. Currently, Alice serves as a board director for Greenbacker Renewable Energy Company ll, a private sustainable infrastructure company; the RENN Fund, a publicly traded equity mutual fund; and FRMO Corp., a publicly traded holding company, in addition to advising Advaita Capital, a venture capital-backed growth fund that focuses on diversity, equity, and inclusion, and environmental, social, and governance investing. She served as the first chief compliance officer of Bristol-Myers Squibb Company and then as the architect of the award-winning enterprise risk management program at Verizon Wireless. She is the former president of the Stockholder Relations Society and board director for the Society for Corporate Governance. Alice studied chemistry and biology at Skidmore College and received a master’s degree in microbiology from Columbia University. She holds a law degree from Hofstra Law School. She has earned a NACD Directorship Certification and is a NACD New Jersey Chapter board member.
