World Economic Forum 2025 Global Risks Report Presentation

 

On January 30, 2025, NACD New Jersey hosted its annual overview of the World Economic Forum’s Global Risks Report 2025.  Allison Pan, Senior Vice President at Marsh, a key sponsor of the WEF Report, provided an overview and highlights of the year’s report.  

That was followed by a panel discussion facilitated by NACD New Jersey Chair Emeritus, Anita Allen.  Our esteemed panel included Allison, Andrea Bonime-Blanc, global risk and governance strategist, board member and author, and Michael Marquardt, advisor, board member and CEO, Epi One, Inc.   After another rocky year of dramatic developments in the geopolitical, humanitarian, and technological spheres, boards and management need to understand the global risks that are relevant to their businesses and sector for both the short and long term.  Our panelists reviewed the top risks identified in the WEF Global Risks Report 2025, focusing on practical lessons and data from this Report, applicable to both private and public companies and focus on strategy, enterprise risk management and resilience building, with both a risk and opportunities lens.
