Lisa Blais

Director

Lisa Blais serves on Egon Zehnder’s global board of directors and co-leads the firm’s US board and CEO practice. She also recently served as managing partner of the firm’s Boston office, led the North American industrial practice, and co-founded the firm’s US diversity council. She advises boards and CEOs on their most critical leadership challenges, including board and CEO succession, recruitment, assessment, and development. Blais also co-founded the firm’s corporate governance exchange.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Blais spent over 20 years with global industrial manufacturing companies, including roles in engineering, sales and marketing, and general management. Most recently, Blais was president of the flow control division within ITT, a global pump business that served the marine, industrial, and beverage markets. Prior to that, she served as president of the global commercial electronics division that produced switch and connector products. Prior to her general management roles, Blais held several sales and marketing leadership positions and began her career on the factory floor as a manufacturing engineer.

Blais earned a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a master of business administration from Harvard Business School. She serves on the board of the NACD New England Chapter. Blais is passionate about helping female leaders advance in their careers and is a devoted wife and mother of three.
