Darren Donovan has served as the office managing principal (OMP) of KPMG LLP’s Boston, New England, and Upstate New York offices since July 2015 and as a principal in KPMG’s Forensics practice since 2001. He has more than 30 years of experience providing advisory regulatory, compliance, and fraud risk/investigative services with a focus on the financial sector.

As OMP, Donovan is responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality client service, developing marketplace strategy, attracting and retaining key resources, and representing the firm in the marketplace and community. He serves on the executive council of the Boston Chamber of Commerce, the board of directors of the New England Council, and the board of directors for Camp Harbor View and the Private Industry Council.

Donovan is an active participant in KPMG’s seven diversity and inclusion business resource groups and volunteers with Friends of the Children and Boston Partners in Education. He also serves on the Get Konnected! C-Suite Mentoring Program and on the Boston Business Journal’s Race Ahead Panel. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Government from Suffolk University and his MBA from City University of New York-Baruch College - Zicklin School of Business.
