About The Event
The world we live and work in has become increasingly both fractured and yet intertwined. Corporations are more and more being pulled into both political and social issues by both their employees, customers, and vendors.
With elections on the horizon, we anticipate that the focus on these issues will only increase, and Companies and Boards will need to think about how to respond. The views of a Company’s constituents may well disagree both with each other and also be at cross purposes with the Company’s stated mission and values. What role should directors play both in these discussions and decisions? What happens when an approach turns into reputational issues for a company? “Reputations are made or lost by how companies manage the undertow.”
Join our panelists Steve Barth, Diane Hessan and Michael Prior in an engaging discussion on the Board’s role and responsibilities in these areas. This event will be moderated by Micho Spring.
