William "Bill" Jones is a board member, strategic advisor, and former public company C-suite leader with deep public accounting and commercial banking experience involving corporate governance and risk, business transformation, and corporate turnarounds and growth.

As a qualified audit committee financial expert, Jones brings a powerful career arsenal that includes serving as an auditor and licensed certified public accountant for a Big Four firm (Ernst & Young), chief financial officer (CFO) of a private business, CEO and CFO of a US Securities and Exchange Commission-registered bank holding company, and finally as an executive vice president and division president at U.S. Bank (NYSE: USB), the fifth-largest banking institution in the United States.

Jones has served on multiple boards and as chair across diverse industries. Currently, he is a board member and audit committee member of Independence Bank, a $3.4 billion bank with operations across Kentucky. Additionally, he is on the board of the Commonwealth Fund for Kentucky Educational Television, where he chairs the nominating committee. In 2017, Jones was awarded the Flame of Excellence Award by Leadership Kentucky, which honors an outstanding Kentuckian "who bravely goes before and lights the way for others." At the end of 2022, Jones completed his service as the nonexecutive chair of Bon Secours Mercy Health of Kentucky and previously served on the finance and strategy committee of the parent company.

Jones is a member of the Private Directors Association and National Association of Corporate Directors and is NACD Directorship Certified.
