Tim Huebsch is the digital and technology leader for mergers and acquisitions (M&A) at General Mills. In that role he has responsibility for leading technology due diligence and integration planning for M&A activities and working closely with the small cross-functional deal team as they shape General Mills portfolio of businesses. Tim joined General Mills in 2001 and has held numerous roles in information systems, supply chain, finance, and digital marketing.

Tim holds a master of business administration from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota, a bachelor of science in management information systems from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and is a past Humphrey Policy Fellow from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota.

He is a recipient of the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal’s 40 Under Forty award, the Alumni Service Award from the University of Minnesota, and the Distinguished Young Alumni Award from Minnesota State University, Mankato.

Tim currently serves as a trustee for the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system and is a board member of the Guthrie Theater and Mankato Area Foundation. He has previously served as president of the Carlson School of Management Alumni Board, on the Carlson School of Management Board of Overseers, and as chair of the Minnesota State University, Mankato Foundation.

Tim is also an active member of the Twin Cities tech startup community, where he is an investor and partner with Matchstick Ventures and SureSwift Capital. Tim is a thought leader on innovation, technology, philanthropy, governance, and higher education. He lives in Maple Grove, Minnesota, and grew up on a farm near Good Thunder in southern Minnesota.
