Miron Marcotte is the central region managing director for Protiviti. He has more than 30 years of experience in providing audit and consulting services to companies in various industries. Prior to joining Protiviti, he spent 17 years with a Big 5 firm where he was an Audit and Business Advisory partner.

Marcotte serves as a director for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Twin Cities and is on the Illinois State University College of Business Advisory Council. He is a previous president and director for the Institute of Internal Auditors Twin Cities Chapter. He has a bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University in Accounting, holds an inactive CPA certification, and is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA). In 2009, Marcotte was named Outstanding Alumni for the Illinois State University Department of Accounting and was inducted in 2011 into the College of Business Hall of Fame. In 2018-2020, he was named one of the 500 Most Powerful Business Leaders in Minnesota.
