Registration for the beta exam is now closed. If you are participating in the beta exam, please make note of the following information and resources to ensure a smooth experience.

Key Dates

  • The deadline to complete the exam is Thursday, November 7, 2024.
  • Exam results will take up to 12 weeks to receive as analysis is performed.
  • You will receive an email from Pearson VUE once your exam results are available.

 

How to Prepare

Virtual Discussion Groups

NACD is offering exclusive discussion groups for beta exam candidates. These two-hour, virtual webinars are designed to provide you with essential guidance on how to approach the case study section of the exam. We highly recommend that all beta exam applicants take advantage of these webinars to ensure they are fully prepared for the exam.

 

Exam Syllabus and Resources

We encourage you to carefully review the updated exam syllabus and resources document provided to you by the NACD Credentialing Team. This document outlines the exam domains, the topics covered under each domain and indicates whether a topic is "existing" (carried over from the current exam), "new," or "removed."

TIP: Use this document for self-assessment to identify your strengths and weaknesses. Then, use the links to additional resources for each domain to help expand your knowledge in specific areas.
