Linda Hanson is highly regarded as a C-suite executive, board member, and business leader with extensive experience in the financial services industry and known for her keen ability to identify solutions to complex business issues.

In her current role as board chair of the Women’s Foundation, Hanson helps to guide the strategy, vision, and direction of the organization, whose mission is to promote equity and opportunity for women of all ages in the community. The Women’s Foundation is removing barriers for women entrepreneurs through policy changes such as occupational licensing. In addition, they work to provide women with opportunities to serve on civic and community boards. Both state houses have recognized the Women’s Foundation for thought leadership in regard to sexual harassment training and pay equity. Through the Appointments Project, the Women’s Foundation has helped appoint 87 women to civic boards at the city and state levels in Kansas and Missouri.

As the president for the Kansas City region at Enterprise Bank, Hanson owned full profit/loss responsibility and served both privately held and entrepreneurial companies in a wide array of industries. Under her leadership, Hanson’s team, comprised of more than 200 associates providing a full range of financial tools, developed vision, strategies, and business plans, which led the firm to be recognized as a go-to bank for business in the market.

Hanson’s sales expertise is one of her strongest attributes. Additionally, she assisted in the acquisition of three banks during country's the worst economic crisis in 50 years. Even during difficult times, Hanson’s focus on building culture and vision to steer the organization forward proved invaluable. In addition to her core responsibilities, Hanson served on the legal board of the publicly held Enterprise Bank and Trust and was a member of the cabinet reporting to the CEO. She attracted and acquired talent for the bank, many of whom now lead the markets that Enterprise serves in Kansas City, Phoenix, and St. Louis.

Hanson is a highly capable connector who enjoys bringing together great leaders in the spirit of collaboration, problem solving, and opportunity creation. She has always played an active role in advising CEOs and business owners on both immediate- and long-term strategies to help them achieve their financial objectives. Additionally, she has a firm belief in giving back to the community and is involved with numerous nonprofit boards and organizations.
