Peter Pruitt retired in 2019 as an accomplished business executive and senior partner at Deloitte. He has 41 years of experience spanning numerous leadership roles at Deloitte. He has served as an industry leader for Homebuilding, charged with market expansion and brand ambassadorship; the Southeast region Financial Advisory Practice leader, setting the strategy and business plan and leading talent acquisition and development for what was, at the time, a start-up; greater Washington partner in charge of Audit and Enterprise Risk Services, where he held operational oversight with P&L, performance, and client satisfaction responsibilities; and most recently, the office managing partner for Florida and Puerto Rico, a practice of over 2,000 professionals with offices in Miami, Boca Raton, Lake Mary, Jacksonville, Tallahassee, and San Juan.

Pruitt has focused his career on board service and is a board member at Dycom Industries (NYSE: DY), a $3.5 billion leading supplier of specialty contracting services to telecommunications providers, underground locating services for utilities, and construction/maintenance services for electric and gas utilities. He is the board chair of Chapman Partnership for the Homeless, an innovative and leading homeless assistance organization. Pruitt is also the board chair of the Platelet Disorder Support Association-a national patient support group for platelet disorders, working in close collaboration with the pharmaceutical industry and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration-as well as a board member of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce.
