Daphne E. Jones has more than 30 years of experience serving in general management and executive-level roles at IBM, Johnson & Johnson, Hospira (now Pfizer), and General Electric. During her tenure at GE, she was SVP for Future of Work, SVP, and CIO. Her early career days were spent at IBM and Johnson & Johnson as an IT executive, followed by her role as a corporate officer, SVP, and CIO at Hospira Inc. She was the first woman and African American to report to the chair, and had accountability for Hospira’s enterprise, cyber, digital, and analytics technology. Jones is a director of AMN Healthcare Inc., Barnes Group Inc., and Masonite International Corp. She received the University of the West Indies’ Luminary Award, was named one of the Most Powerful and Influential Women in Illinois by the National Diversity Council, and was named a Computerworld Premier 100 CIO.
