Profile - Jared Berman Jared Berman Partner Meridian Compensation Partners LLC Jared Berman is a partner with Meridian Compensation Partners LLC and has more than 17 years of experience in executive compensation consulting. Prior to joining Meridian, Berman was with Mercer for eight years as a consultant and principal within the executive compensation practice. He has experience consulting in a broad range of executive compensation matters that include executive and director compensation benchmarking, compensation strategies and pay philosophies, long-term incentive plan design, short-term incentive plan design, executive supplemental benefits, severance benefits, and change-in-control benefits. Berman currently works with publicly traded and privately held companies across a wide range of industries including advertising, automotive, banks and financial services, hotels and resorts, manufacturing, payment processing, REITs, restaurants, retail, and steel. In 2018, Berman was a featured speaker at both the Equilar Summit and Corporate Board Member conference. He is a frequent speaker at NASPP and WorldatWork regional chapter meetings.
Profile - Roy Dunbar Roy Dunbar Director Humana Inc., Johnson Controls International plc, SiteOne Landscape Supply Inc. Roy Dunbar is the founder of private renewable-energy and property-development companies, serving in roles as CEO and chair of network solutions between 2008 and 2010. Dunbar was formerly president of Global Technology and Operations at MasterCard. Previously, Dunbar was with Eli Lilly, where he worked for 14 years, serving as president, Intercontinental Region, and earlier as chief information officer (CIO). As president, Intercontinental Region, he oversaw all business operations in the world’s fastest-growing economies, including Brazil, Russia, India, and China. Dunbar served as vice president and CIO from 1999 to 2003, and is credited with having led Eli Lilly to rank as the most innovative user of technology in the pharmaceutical industry. InformationWeek named him CIO of the Year in 2003. Dunbar is a director of Humana, Johnson Controls, and SiteOne. Dunbar was named to the NACD Directorship 100 in 2015 and is an NACD Board Leadership Fellow.
Profile - Dan Kaufman Dan Kaufman Lead Consultant Meridian Compensation Partners LLC Daniel E. Kaufman is a lead consultant with Meridian Compensation Partners LLC. He consults with boards of directors and senior management on all aspects of executive and director compensation. His areas of expertise include competitive benchmarking, short-term and long-term incentive plan design, alignment of pay and performance, compensation disclosure, and technical issues. Kaufman has been involved with executive compensation issues for more than 14 years both as a consultant and in a corporate role. Kaufman is a frequent speaker and writer on executive compensation trends and developments and is a member of Meridian’s retail and financial services teams. Prior to rejoining Meridian, Kaufman spent four years at a multibillion-dollar public company leading global human resources functions. Kaufman previously worked as a senior associate in Mercer’s executive compensation practice and began his career as a strategy and technology consultant.
