About The Event
You can't read the business press lately without out-of-breath comments about how AI will reshape our world, especially since the launch of ChatGPT, Dall-e, and other tools. From the board perspective, the challenge is not just to see threats, but to also understand how to harness its power. David Edelman will share highlights from his recent Harvard Business Review article "Customer Experience in the Age of AI," and discuss the deep changes needed to truly leverage AI for competitive advantage.
The pace at which ChatGPT has gained awareness in the industry far exceeds previous products. Where it took Spotify 150 days and Instagram 75 days to gain that awareness, ChatGPT did it in one day. This new AI product, that has recently been released, provides significant capabilities for end users to immediately put the technology to work in many aspects of a business. Unlike other major information game-changers that have been released over the decades, this product is unique in that it can be used immediately without waiting for any counterparties with data to show up. That means that its capabilities can immediately be put to use and literally change the playing field for many activities, such as the creation of unique and highly-readable content that can immediately increase sales activity and customer support.
As a senior executive or Board member, it is imperative that the impact of this new technology and related components be assessed quickly and effectively, both to identify risks to the business and/or put the technology to work. Waiting to think about this and its impact on a business or industry sector will risk giving competitors and edge.
To learn more, join our Webinar on Thursday, March 23rd with two very experienced speakers on the subject, David Edelman and Isaac Sacolick.
