Cheryl Campbell is an independent board director with over 35 years of experience in energy, including midstream and utilities.

Campbell currently sits on the boards of Pacific Gas & Electric Co. (chair of the utility board and of the safety and operations committee), TC Energy (audit and health, safety & environment committees), Summit Utilities (vice chair), National Underground Group, and Jana Corp. She is active in nonprofit board work as the chair of the Women’s Leadership Foundation and sits on the NACD Colorado Chapter board.

Campbell most recently worked as a senior executive for Xcel Energy, leading the gas business unit with over two million customers in eight states. Campbell also served as a member of the US Department of Transportation’s Gas Pipeline Advisory Committee and testified before a congressional subcommittee on pipeline infrastructure safety. She also was a member of the independent panel assessing the safety of 11 gas utilities in Massachusetts following the September 2018 explosions and fires in Merrimack Valley as well as the follow up safety assessment of the new infrastructure built by Columbia Gas.
