Barbara Faulkenberry

Major General (Retired) Barbara Faulkenberry leads the NACD Colorado Chapter’s Roundtable Committee. She serves as an independent director on three public company boards: Callon Petroleum (NYSE: CPE), where she serves on the Audit and Nomination & ESG Committees; USA Truck Inc. (NASDAQ: USAK), where she leads the Strategy & Risk Committee and serves on the Audit and Nomination/Governance Committees; and Target Hospitality (NASDAQ: TH), where she serves on the Audit and Nomination/Governance Committees. Barbara retired from the US Air Force in 2014 as a 2-star general where she had responsibility for the command’s 1,100 aircraft and 37,000 people with a worldwide mission of providing rapid global mobility for US armed forces through airlift, aerial refueling, and aeromedical evacuation. She is NACD Board Certified, a Leadership Fellow, and holds the NACD/Carnegie Mellon University Cybersecurity Oversight Certificate. Barbara graduated of the US Air Force Academy with an undergraduate degree in operations research, and she holds an MBA from Georgia College and a master of national security from the National War College. She’s also taken leadership courses at Syracuse, Harvard, and Cambridge.
