Annita Menogan

Program Chair

Annita Menogan thrives on leading strategic corporate transition and change prompted by opportunity, crisis, or design. Her 20-year tenure as a business, legal, and governance executive with publicly held companies enables her to drive business strategies for transformational growth, global scale, and organizational redesign as companies address challenges and opportunities. Through Menogan’s boardroom and executive positions, she has navigated businesses through disruption caused by geopolitical crises, the pandemic, market forces, litigation, regulatory activity, talent management, and other issues faced by boards of directors today.

Menogan’s experience includes cross-border and global mergers and acquisitions, initial public offering, and joint venture transactions; strategic planning for expansion domestically and globally; new market entries, products, operations, and expanded customer segments; assessment and oversight of business, market, regulatory, and stakeholder risks; and optimizing corporate board governance, regulatory, financial compliance, and reporting processes. She has been engaged in executive and board recruitment, succession, and compensation and has led governance and leadership training for boards and committee chairs in both public and nonprofit organizations.

Prior to her board service, Menogan was an executive with The Simply Good Foods Company (f/k/a Atkins Nutritionals Inc.), Red Robin Gourmet Burgers Inc., and Molson Coors Beverage Co. Currently, Menogan is a board member of RE/MAX Holdings Inc. (NYSE: RMAX), one of the world’s leading franchisors of real estate and mortgage broker services, serving on the nominating and governance, and compensation committees. She is an independent director of Infinicept Inc., a privately held Inc. 5000 company providing software platforms for customers in the payments industry, where she chairs the compensation committee. Menogan is also a board member of Children’s Hospital Colorado, a top-10 nationally ranked children’s hospital system, serving on the executive and compensation committees as well as the compliance/business ethics committee, which oversees internal audit, cybersecurity, regulatory compliance and licensing, and risk management. She is an NACD Board Leadership Fellow and board member and program chair of the NACD Colorado chapter.

Menogan spent many years in private corporate law practice, representing businesses in transportation, mining, telecommunications, entertainment, food and beverages, real estate development, and private equity investment. She has served on numerous civic boards and several professional organizations and Colorado Supreme Court committees. She has been a speaker, faculty member, and guest lecturer on corporate governance and securities regulation for the US Securities and Exchange Commission, University of Denver, and others. She is a graduate of Boardbound by Women’s Leadership Foundation and the Deloitte Board Ready program and provides mentorship for aspiring board candidates. She holds a law degree from the Sturm College of Law at the University of Denver and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
