Hille Sheppard, co-leader of Sidley’s global securities and shareholder litigation practice, is a nationally recognized securities litigator with nearly 30 years of experience. Ranked Band 1 by Chambers USA (2021–2024), she has also been honored as one of the 25 Most Influential Women in Securities Law by Law360 and named a Client Service All-Star by BTI Consulting in 2020 and a 2022 All-Star MVP.

Hille specializes in high-stakes litigation, including securities and RICO class actions, shareholder derivative suits, commercial disputes, and SEC enforcement matters. She advises companies and boards on shareholder demands, Special Committee investigations, and litigation strategies. Her successful representations include numerous dismissals in securities and RICO class actions and favorable settlements in SEC enforcement actions and complex commercial disputes.
