Bruce Halbeck has more than 30 years of experience serving corporate boards, including as co-leader of global practices at Spencer Stuart and Russell Reynolds Associates, and as a global industry practice head at Heidrick & Struggles. Almost a decade ago, he founded his firm serving the executive and board recruitment needs of a select group of clients.

Earlier, he served for seven years with Kidder, Peabody & Co., an investment banking firm, where he helped clients around the globe execute mergers, acquisitions, and capital markets offerings. Halbeck has worked extensively with board members, private equity owners, and CEOs across the globe and has represented the largest and smallest of companies, both publicly traded and privately held.

Halbeck earned a master’s degree, with distinction, from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and holds a bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin. He has served as a member of the board of the Southeast Chicago Commission, as a founding member of the board of directors of the Wolcott School, and as a trustee and on the executive committee of the Francis W. Parker School.
