Lynn Clarke

Director

Lynn Clarke has two roles. She serves on several boards as independent chair, lead, or director. Clarke is also an operating partner for early-stage companies, guiding them to profit stage and exit. She was named NACD’s 2021-22 Private Company Director of the Year.

Clarke is a three-time CEO and has executive experience in the Fortune 50. Clarke also has been interim CEO for two companies whose boards she chaired. Prior to her CEO roles, Clarke was an executive at PepsiCo in general management, branding, strategy, operations, manufacturing, and distribution. After serving as CEO for two private equity companies, she acquired and sold an award-winning e-commerce business in the upscale branded kitchen products/home goods category. She has worked in more than 10 industries including: consumer packaged goods, food, beverage, digital, manufacturing, home goods, energy, distribution, food service, and technology.

Clarke is a frequent speaker at private company and entrepreneurial programs, including the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, the Private Company Governance Summit, the Family Business Consulting Group’s Chair Program, Google Digital Advertising/Search Conference, and several NACD Summits and advanced director professionalism courses. Clarke is also one of three judges for Deloitte’s Best Managed Company Awards. She has been on the board of two local NACD chapters, Atlanta and Connecticut.

Clarke attended the YPO/Harvard Business School Presidents’ Program and Wharton Business School’s corporate directors. She has a master of business administration from the University of Pittsburgh and a bachelor of arts in journalism and communications from Point Park University.
