NACD Capital Area and NACD Nashville, in collaboration with the Smithsonian American Women’s History Museum, invite you to celebrate Women’s History Month with a must-attend virtual program on Thursday, March 20, from 1:00-2:15 p.m. EDT.

This engaging conversation will feature trailblazing women discussing key trends and insights in governance and resources for fostering inclusive, purpose-driven leadership. We will explore:

  • the role of the board in driving stronger connections between companies and the world in which they operate;
  • today’s strategies for gaining the experience and skills needed to advance into and through leadership roles;
  • financial independence as a pathway to governance leadership;
  • progress over the last 50 years, from the Equal Credit Opportunity Act to today; and
  • how to learn more about the new Smithsonian American Women’s History Museum.
