Thomas Pennella is cofounder and principal consultant for Penhalt Advisory Group LLC. He is currently a member of the advisory board for the Ray C. Anderson Center for Sustainable Business at the Georgia Institute of Technology and past mentor within the Georgia Institute of Technology VentureLab.

Pennella has held a variety of executive-level positions for, and was a board director of, CH2M Hill Companies Ltd., a US Securities and Exchange Commission-governed, publicly reporting, global Fortune 500 technology-based project delivery, engineering, and construction company. During Pennella’s tenure on the board, CH2M grew to more than 20,000 employees worldwide and over $5 billion in annual revenue.

Pennella brings proven executive leadership, corporate governance, managerial, and technical expertise along with a global perspective having lived and worked in the United States, United Kingdom, and Middle East. He is a board member for the Atlanta Chapter of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) and is NACD Directorship Certified, thus committed to continuing education on emerging issues to elevate corporate governance and the profession of directorship.
