Patricia B. Robinson spent 21 years as a leader and a change agent in the corporate arena. She has run a manufacturing plant, led a corporate rightsizing, launched new product lines, and repositioned businesses. She was the first female president of a paper company and the youngest person to be named president of a division in the Mead Corporation.

Robinson led businesses for over half her corporate career, after having received first-hand operating experience in a variety of positions. Her unique blend of strategy, marketing, operations, and general management experience enables her to understand businesses from both a top-down and bottom-up perspective. She has worked in both commercial and consumer products industries but thrives on those with a creative element. In her last position at Mead, Robinson was president of Mead School and Office Products, a $550 million organization with 3,000 employees and eight manufacturing/distribution plants in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

In 2000, she transitioned from the corporate arena to entrepreneurial businesses as an executive consultant, assisting for-profit and not-for-profit organizations in developing effective strategies and achieving operational excellence. Currently, her primary interest is helping not-for-profit organizations.

Robinson’s achievements and passions are not limited to her career. Following her interest in adventure travel, she has kayaked the Colorado River, trekked in Nepal, skydived in New Zealand, been dogsledding in Norway, and joined photography expeditions to Africa and Antarctica.

She earned a BA in Economics from Duke University in 1974 and an MBA from the Darden School at the University of Virginia in 1977 and serves on the boards of Trex Inc. (NYSE), STO Corp., Robinson Manufacturing Company, and the Betty and Davis Fitzgerald Foundation. Robinson is a member of the Dean’s Council at the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University and the Raven Society at the University of Virginia and is a visiting lecturer and former trustee at the Darden School. She serves on the board of the International Women’s Forum Georgia, is a member of Women Corporate Directors, and is an alumna of Young Presidents Organization.
