Marisol is an independent board director and an energetic global business leader who thrives in challenging environments and has leveraged consumer-centric marketing to grow businesses consistently in global companies across many distinct settings.

She currently serves on the board of Bush Brothers, a 100-plus-year-old family enterprise that markets the leading branded beans in the United States, where she is a member of the Nominating and Governance Committee. She is also engaged with Endeavor Global Inc. as a business leader expert and coach to a large variety of companies across many industries “scaling up” their businesses globally, serving as an advisory board member for several of their companies.

At The Coca-Cola Company, she served on the board of the JV Jugos del Valle for three years and was also part of a board council to increase female talent in leadership roles. Her experience at The Coca-Cola Company includes serving as chief marketing officer/vice president of marketing in many operating units (Mexico, Brazil, Central America, and Eastern/Central Europe). She also served as the general manager for the global Glaceau Business and, at the same time, also managed the Water and Teas category globally.

Besides food and beverages, Marisol has experience in the personal care, household cleaners, oral care, and paper categories, which she ran while working for Procter & Gamble (P&G) in Latin America. She has been involved in multiple acquisitions within P&G and Coca-Cola and has been instrumental in making these businesses profitable.

Marisol is also a board member of the NACD Atlanta Chapter, chairing the Member Engagement Committee, and is an NACD Board Certified Fellow.

Marisol holds an MBA from Mercer University in Atlanta and a BA from Georgia State University, and she has kept herself current by attending executive business programs at Wharton (Driving Strategic Business), the University of California, Los Angeles (The Future of Retail), and the Kellogg School of Management (CMO Program, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning).
