Nominating/Governance Committee Chair Advisory Council Brief

With the backdrop of boards getting back to in-person meetings, NACD, along with Heidrick & Struggles and Sidley Austin, convened Fortune 500 nominating and governance committee chairs to discuss the key issues associated with a return to the boardroom and office. Among the themes discussed were fostering a renewed trust among a board who haven’t met in person in more than a year, the importance of the board not losing its focus on DE&I, and the relationship between the board and management post-pandemic.
