On Apr. 22, 2014, NACD, Heidrick & Struggles, and Sidley Austin co-hosted the spring 2014 meeting of the Nominating and Governance Committee Chair Advisory Council. The forum provided timely insights into many issues that are shaping nominating and governance committee (and board) discussions, including:

  • Responding to activist challenges in the boardroom

  • Building the boardroom of the future—effective “board refresh” practices

  • Emerging issues and priorities for nominating and governance committee chairs
