As 2024 draws to a close, I want to thank you for your continued commitment to excellence in governance and for being part of the NACD community. 
 
NACD supports its members’ success by providing unparalleled education, networking, thought leadership and independent research, such as the initiatives below. Our impact — and the need for high-quality corporate governance — results in strong membership growth, especially in the financial services, banking, healthcare, pharma, technology, energy and real estate sectors.

Technology Leadership in the Boardroom 

The 2024 Blue Ribbon Commission report calls on boards to govern technologies with more definition, a more strategic focus, and more proficiency. 

Directorship Certification®

This year, NACD celebrates the fifth anniversary of the NACD Directorship Certification program.
More than 2,000 NACD members have received the NACD.DC® designation and over 1,900
members are currently pursuing the credential.

 

NACD Events + Directors Summit

 Over 1,600 corporate directors and governance professionals, representing thousands of boards and 70+ industries, attended this year’s Directors Summit.

NACD’s live and virtual events delivered coast-to-coast programming on members’ most important governance topics, drawing 16,450+ registrations.

Strategic Engagement

NACD’s connections, data-driven thought leadership and independent voice are helping members navigate the challenges of today's governance landscape. More than 250 Fortune 500 committee chairs attended one of 12 NACD Advisory Council programs that included information sessions with the FBI, US Navy, New York Police Department, New York Stock Exchange and the Smithsonian. NACD also co-hosted the inaugural CISA/US Secret Service Cybersecurity Directors Academy, in partnership with Mastercard and Knight Dragon, for more than 15 board committee chairs from 36 companies.

Member Growth and Engagement
