Lucy Nottingham
Senior Director, Governance Content and Thought Leadership
Lucy Nottingham is senior director, governance content and thought leadership, with the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD). She has more than 20 years’ experience in consulting and developing thought leadership on issues related to enterprise risk management, risk governance, and the board of directors’ role in risk oversight. In particular, she focuses on evolving risk governance challenges and explores complex risk issues that are reshaping industries, economies, and societies and how organizations can respond. Nottingham has authored and coauthored a number of reports on evolving risk and risk oversight, including reports on issues related to climate and ESG, in collaboration with organizations such as GreenBiz, CDP, and the World Energy Council. Prior to joining NACD, Nottingham was a management consultant and research director with Marsh McLennan Companies, managing collaborative research programs with strategic content partners. She has previously worked with PWC and the Conference Board of Canada.
