As Chief Information Officer for the National Association of Corporate Directors, Rona Bunn facilitates digital orchestration, leading information technology and data strategy and operations. She is responsible for cybersecurity, strategic planning, effectiveness of digital capabilities and allocation of I&T resources to drive increased value to members, employees, and partners.
Before joining NACD, she served as Chief Information Officer at the U.S. Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration.
Ms. Bunn is a two-time Technology All-star award recipient from Women of Color in STEM, recognized for advocacy of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math and her career achievements. She holds a B.S. in Accounting from State University of New York at Old Westbury, a M.S. in Computer Science from Bowie State University and an M.B.A. from New York University, Stern School of Business. Ms. Bunn serves on the Board of Directors of IT Senior Management Forum (ITSMF). She also held Executive Board positions at the National Society of Black Engineers – DC chapter.
