George Corbin has led innovation and business transformation of large, disrupted companies for more than 26 years. He has served as board director, chief digital officer, and top digital executive for some of the world’s most iconic brands through some of their most challenging transitions.

George currently serves as board director at public consumer goods company, Edgewell Personal Care. He was previously chief digital officer (CDO) at Mars Inc., chief operating officer of a Silicon Valley tech start-up, and CDO at Marriott International, where he led its global digital transformation and built a $14 billion digital business. George is a venture partner at NextGen Ventures, vetting and investing in promising tech startups. He also serves on the NACD faculty, where he brings his pragmatic “School of Hard Knocks” lessons to advise boards on how they can successfully govern the vagaries of innovation, disruption, digital reinvention, and artificial intelligence (AI). His talks are among NACD’s highest rated by fellow directors.

George’s work has been featured in Forbes, USA Today, The New York Times, the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program, MIT Sloan Management Review, Corporate Board Member, the NACD, Walter Isaacson’s Trailblazers, and others.

He holds a master’s degree in business administration from Harvard Business School and an undergraduate degree from the University of California, Davis.
